1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Voixo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
2. Service Description
Voixo is a browser-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service that allows users to make international phone calls through their web browser. The Service includes:
- Outbound calling to landlines and mobile phones worldwide
- Pay-as-you-go credit system
- Contact management
- Call history and records
- Optional call recording features
3. Account Registration
To use Voixo, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pay-As-You-Go Model
Voixo operates on a prepaid, pay-as-you-go basis. You purchase credits in advance, and calls are deducted from your balance at the posted per-minute rates.
4.2 Rates
Call rates vary by destination and are displayed before you place each call. Rates are subject to change. Current rates are always available on our Rates page.
4.3 Credit Expiration
Your credits never expire. Once purchased, credits remain in your account until used.
4.4 Billing
Calls are billed by the minute, rounded up to the next full minute. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Stripe.
4.5 Refunds
Unused credits may be refunded within 30 days of purchase if you have not made any calls. After 30 days, or once calls have been made, credits are non-refundable. Contact support for refund requests.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use Voixo to:
- Make harassing, threatening, or abusive calls
- Engage in telemarketing, robocalling, or spam calls
- Conduct illegal activities or fraud
- Impersonate another person or entity
- Transmit malware or interfere with the Service
- Attempt to bypass security measures
- Resell the Service without authorization
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.99% uptime, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
- Unscheduled maintenance or repairs
- Network or infrastructure failures
- Events beyond our control
7. Emergency Services
IMPORTANT: Voixo is NOT a replacement for traditional telephone service and CANNOT be used to contact emergency services (911, 999, 112, etc.). If you need emergency assistance, use a traditional phone or mobile device.
8. Call Recording
If you enable call recording:
- You are responsible for complying with all applicable recording laws
- Many jurisdictions require consent from all parties being recorded
- We provide recording functionality but you assume all legal responsibility
- Recordings are stored for 90 days and can be deleted at any time
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Voixo and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy or reliability of any information
- Call quality or connection reliability
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOIXO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Failed or dropped calls
- Service interruptions or outages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Voixo harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Account Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay for services
- Remain inactive for an extended period
Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited unless a refund is approved.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
